Young Entrepreneurs Encouraged

Dear GHS students,

This is your chance to make a good amount of holiday pocket money in the space of a day! To encourage young people to come up with creative ways to earn a few dollars independently, the Academy of Performance & Arts invites young people to hold a stall at the upcoming Christmas Market on Saturday 3rd December.

Unlike adults, who must sell crafts and gifts only and who pay more than twice as much for a stall, as a student you are offered a stall at only $10 for the entire day and you are allowed to sell anything you like! You could sell old books, games, toys, clothes, crafts, baking or even firewood. Or you can also think outside the square and busk, offer a game or activity, or use the stall to fundraise for a charity or sell services to the public. The idea is to have a fun, vibrant youth section at the market and to give young people a chance to take full responsibility for their stall and earnings.

Places are limited - first in first served, so please fill in the attached form today! See you all there!
