Pathway Assembly

Geraldine High School held its very first Pathway Assembly this week with Anna Bolland from the Running Duck in Geraldine being our first presenter.

She shared insights into her career with all of our Year 10 – 13 students. Anna spoke about how she got to where she is now, and her involvement within the Service Industry pathway. She also talked about the skills and knowledge needed for students to further their education and gain meaningful employment.

Pathway Assemblies are a new initiative designed to give students and their families a greater insight into each of the six Vocational Pathways:

  • Manufacturing & Technology
  • Construction & Infrastructure
  • Creative Industries
  • Primary Industries
  • Service Industries
  • Social & Community Services

Another two Pathway Assemblies are planned for this term, with motivational speakers representing two more Vocational Pathways. Keep an eye out for more information closer to the time.
