Problem solving, teamwork and communication are skills that students need to help them succeed in life. A Year 10 Social Studies class worked on developing these on Friday with a problem that required them to move team members from one side to another over a two-person bridge. Students could not move backwards, swap places, or step anywhere outside their squares.
It was great to see so many of them actively work together to try to solve the problem. Communication (listening was particularly important), and participation were needed from everyone in order to succeed.
