The final Year 11 Assembly was held on Friday 20th October. Throughout the year I have been impressed with the way this group have matured as they have taken on the challenge of being a part of the senior school and NCEA. As individual's, and as a group, these students have represented the four values of the school, respect, responsibility, achievement and relationships. This is evident in the way they work together, their interactions with their peers and others and in the results gained thus far. Our final assembly was an opportunity to relax, enjoy the sun and, most importantly, eat!
Mrs Foley-Smith and members of her PIA course put on a fantastic BBQ. We had a vast amount of sausages and bread, but as always our Year 11's did us proud with many managing to down three or more. A big thank you to Mrs Foley-Smith and her team of Ben Chambers, Harry Payne, Jakob Stachurski and Patrick Foley-Smith.
