Sports Update

Summer Quad
This year is the first time we have had a summer Quad. It was for the Year 7 & 8 age group vs Mt Hutt, Ellesmere and Darfield. Darfield hosted us this year and the four sports played were Cricket, Touch, Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball.
Our Cricket Team placed 1st =
Our Touch Team placed 2nd
Our Ultimate Frisbee Team placed 3rd
Our Volleyball Team placed 1st
Overall we were placed 2nd.
Well done to all the students who competed on a very hot day.
Athletics
Well done to Kayla Kruishoop who won Silver in the Shotput and 100m race at the Special Olympics held in Wellington on Wednesday 29th November.

Well done to all the athletes from Geraldine High School in 2017. We have won National Titles, Top 3 placings in South Island events and won Aoraki events. This is such a great achievement for our school and you should all be very proud.
