On Thursday 1st March, 46 Year 11 Students from Taieri High School's Primary Industry Academy visited our PIA classes. It was a perfect opportunity to practice our A & P Show modules plus adding in tyre changing, trailer stropping, drench gun calibration and farm bike pre-check - 15 modules in total which was quite an undertaking to organise.
We started by teaching Taieri how to tie a fencing termination knot which seemed to be a hit as this was a skill very new to them. Half the modules were completed with a BBQ tea break (cooked by our fabulous parents) followed by the rest of the modules.
Our students were fabulous ambassadors going out of their way to be the perfect hosts.
