Year 11 Primary Industry students have been planning and organising the farming competition for the A & P Show. There were 9 modules across 2 classes of students - Year 5 & 6 and Year 7 & 8 and included the popular Great Goose shoot which had been modified from 2017, animal equipment identification, food, Deer antlers , survival (competitors had to work out how to save the farm worker), feed the calf, picture ID and fencing.
Our students put a lot of time and effort into developing and practicing their modules and this was evident on the day where everything ran smoothly with lots of lovely comments from the crowd:
"firstly thank you to you and your team for a wonderful competition yesterday. The students who ran each of the modules did an amazing job, especially at the end of the task when they were talking through answers and commenting on how well they did. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Please do pass on to your academy students what a great job they did providing such a variety of tasks"
