“If it is to be, it is up to me!”
On Thursday we held our Academic Blues assembly for the year. It is always a privilege to have ex students return to the school and share their experiences. This year we were fortunate to have Leith Pemberton as our guest speaker for the occasion.
Leith has a passion for sustainable agricultural processes and has made this into his professional career, within a commercial context. He has worked in many different countries around the world, most recently on a Food for Kids project in Ethiopia. Leith shared some great advice with the students and impressed on them the importance of their role in shaping a positive future for themselves.
Thank you to all of the parents who attended the occasion and to the PTA for the morning tea afterwards.
Congratulations again to the students who received their academic badges at the assembly.
To receive the Academic Blue badge they had to have gained an Excellence Course Endorsement in 2017. Course Endorsements are awarded to our top students who gain at least 50 credits at Excellence level.
Please see below for a list of those students whose academic success was acknowledged in the assembly.
