An amazing night was had by all at the Geraldine High School Ball - Welcome to the 20’s - held on Saturday 4th August. The many family and friends who turned up to watch the students arrive would agree that they looked spectacular in their beautiful dresses and suits and the school Hall had never looked so stunning!
It was a massively successful event made possible by the hard work of the Ball Committee, assisted by Ms Williams, Miss Richmond and Mr Wilcocks, also the countless staff and students who helped with the set-up and clean-up, security, drinks and cloakroom duties. We would especially like to acknowledge Mr Mike Stephens, Suzie, along with Mr McNulty, Mr Nelson and Mr Wallace for their help and support over the busy three days.
A special mention to Mrs Anne Williams who gave up her time to organise, plan and prepare the food. The set up of the grazing table looked amazing! Best food EVER! Thank you also to her sister Robyn Powell who assisted on the day.
The night would not have been as successful without the input of the following people and businesses:
The Gravity Events team of Aaron, Ron and Josh
Julie Milne - Dance instructor
Trevor Williams, Economy Glass
Ruth Toomey - Decorations and support
Geraldine Vintage Car Museum - supplying the cars for our display outside.
Mrs Karen Woodley - Parent help
Mrs Jayne Gyeltshen - Parent help
Year 10 waitresses
The many people who drove or supplied vehicles.
The photos from the evening will be available to be viewed on the Gravity Events page on Facebook.
A link will be shared on the Geraldine Facebook page as soon as they come out.
Thank you again, it was a very successful and enjoyable night.
