Are you motivated and hard working?
Do you have good attendance, have a genuine interest in working in the primary sector (on farm or at tertiary level) and enjoy practical, hands on learning?
This may be the course for you!
About the Academy
The Primary Industry Academy is a virtual school, linking schools, industry training organisations, and employers. Geraldine High School is AgExcel accredited. This is an industry endorsed quality mark that is awarded when a high standard of training and education delivery is achieved by training providers.
There is NO cost (although there is a charge of $10 per item for the class uniform).
Students receive: Swanndri shirt, dress jacket, waterproof Kathmandu jacket and leggings for use during the year.
Academic ability: there are no selection criteria regarding this. A learning assistant is employed for all classes and there is lots of help for literacy, numeracy, dyslexia and different learning styles including students continuing on to tertiary education.
But … places are limited.
Please contact Mrs Sarah Foley-Smith if you have any questions regarding the above on [email protected] or phone 027 596 3838.
