PPTA Strike - August 20th

Kia ora koutou e te whānau,

As you will have seen on the news, the PPTA has announced a range of strike action to take place this term. 

PPTA Te Wehengarua members covered by the bargaining for the STCA will undertake strike action on 20 August 2025.

This means that our regular scheduled classes will not run on this day. Please keep students home unless you cannot.

• Any students aged under 14 years who are unable to remain at home unsupervised will be able to come to school for supervision - you'll need to let the office know if your child will need to come to school.

• Buses will still run at the normal times for students if needed.

• Any students who need to attend school will be supervised by non-PPTA members of staff.
