July Careers Update 2025
Lincoln Open Day, Fri 18th July
Year 12 and 13 students were able to visit Lincoln University's Open Day and attend lectures, have campus tours and look around the halls of residence.
StudyLink Presentation by KPMG. This was held on 28th July with year 13 students learning about student loans and student allowances. Students need a RealMe identity verification to apply for a student loan.
Job Ready Presentation. This was also held on 28th July and available to year 13 students who are looking to enter the workforce in 2026. Job search methods, CV construction, Cover Letters and how to prepare for an interview were covered.

Student’s going to University
By now students have completed the NZCCRF form, a school google form about CCRF information and set up their university student portal.
Next steps: Students will need to apply for their hall of residence from the 1st August and are advised to do so as soon as possible. This is done via their university student portal.
