Sports Update

Coaches and Managers

We are always looking out for coaches and managers for our sports teams especially for Basketball and Netball. If you think you could spare some time to do this please get in touch with Janet Harding at sports@geraldinehs.school.nz.

Sign ups for Sports events

Students and parents need to keep an eye out in the school notices for sign ups for sports events. If you have children in year 7 & 8 they may need extra reminding to keep an eye out and make sure they turn up for meetings which are usually held in K1 at either interval or lunchtime.

Alternatively they can come and see Mrs Harding at the Sports office which is next to K1.

Uniforms

Just a reminder that if your child has been issued a sports uniform they need to wash it and return it to the Sports office as soon as possible after the event. Please do not wash Tracksuit jackets.

Sports fees

Please ensure that you pay sports fees in a timely manner or make alternative arrangements. We still have a number of outstanding fees from 2023 not paid.

Updates and results regarding events are posted on the Geraldine High School FB page and the Geraldine High School Sports page. Keep an eye on them for up to date information regarding events.
