International Update Feb. 2024

Dear students and parents,

I am excited to share with you the exciting news that we have welcomed esteemed visitors from Yasuda Gakuen High School in Tokyo, Japan at the beginning of this term.

Our International Department is actively collaborating with Yasuda Gakuen High School on several projects, including the development of a programme set to launch in 2026. Our ultimate goal is to establish a stable partnership as their overseas program provider in New Zealand. We acknowledge the substantial work ahead, but our dedicated team is driven to make this vision a reality.

On Thursday the 15th of February, 2024, we had the honour of hosting Mr. Takao Inamura, the Principal of Gakuen High School, and his staff for a potential partnership visit. During their visit, we also had the pleasure of introducing them to our Japanese International Student who comes from their high school. Our own GHS Principal, Mr. Cooper, Business Manager Ms. Coburn, and I personally accompanied them throughout the tour of our school facilities, showcasing the achievements and hard work of our students.

We are excited and optimistic about the potential partnership between our schools, as it opens doors to incredible opportunities for our students. Your support and encouragement are invaluable as we continue working towards establishing this meaningful collaboration.
