Year 7/8 Waihi School Touch Exchange

On Thursday the 3rd of April , our Year 7 and 8 school touch team travelled down the road to play against Waihi in an inter school Touch Rugby exchange. Despite the gloomy weather, the action was bright with some entertaining plays from both schools setting the field alight. A two all draw in the girls match was followed by a tough 5-1 loss for the boys. However, in our final mixed game, we rallied to win the game 3-2 to share the spoils. Given the good times had by all, we hope that this is the first of many exchanges throughout the year.
