After Wrexham finished their training session, Sam stopped for a photo with Riley. Sam Smith was hailed as a hero for Wrexham after his two-goal performance secured the team's promotion to the EFL Championship, the 'kung-fu' goal inspired by Ryan Reynolds. Sam is the first seven-figure signing in the club's history.

 Riley even got to sneak few of his own shots in at the world class NZCIS facility, just in case the academy selectors were watching.
