Parent/Teacher Interviews on the 14th of August 2025

We would like to invite you to our Parent/Teacher interview, which will take place on Thursday, the 14th of August. It is expected, where possible, that students accompany parents/caregivers to the interviews. These will be held around the school in different departments and classrooms, and a map will be provided for you on the day.

We will be running 4 out of the normal 5 periods and it is expected that students attend school. Students will be released to head home at 12.30pm with buses departing school at 12:35pm.

The following times are when the interviews can be booked:

• 1:40-3:20

• 3:40-5:20

• 6:00-7:30

Parent/Teacher interviews will be 5 minutes long. It is a good idea to allow 10 minutes in between interviews to move to a different location.  

These interviews are a good opportunity for you to connect with subject teachers and whanau teachers to discuss the progress of your child so far this year.

For Year 7 and 8 Homeroom Teacher interviews, please book two consecutive 5-minute slots to allow for a 10-minute meeting. To help us maximise the number of interviews available, bookings should end in ‘0’ (e.g., 4:00pm, 4:10pm, 4:20pm), not ‘5’ (e.g., 4:05pm, 4:15pm).

Please note: When booking to see a Year 7 or 8 teacher, you do not need to book with the mixed Mathematics teacher as all the information is fed back to the homeroom teacher.

If you have any problems, please contact the School Office and we will assist you in making your bookings. Bookings will close on Tuesday, the 12th of August at 12pm.

On this day we will also be running an ‘Introduction to NCEA’ presentation in the Library to help parents/caregivers understand more about Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications. We would love to see you dropping into this presentation, learning more about our school and asking us questions. The presentation will be at 5:40.

Coffees and second-hand uniforms will also be available for sale out of the school hall throughout the day. We also have limited stock from Peter Young Apparel for sale.
