All the world is a stage

What an amazing show that our students put on at the end of March.  A wide variety of both music and drama was showcased and there was a wonderful receptive audience that appreciated all the hard work and energy that goes into an event like this.

It was wonderful to see more students in the audience cheering on their peers  and we had 150 people that went away that night being fully impressed with the talent.

Students from Year 9 and up were performing, some have been doing this for many years and others were having their first taste of performing to an audience.

What was impressive about this show was that two students performed original pieces that blew the audience away.  We have some excellent talent emerging from the students and it shows their dedication to their craft. They are also very supportive of each other and this is an example of Geraldine High School’s values.

Please remember to come to these events as you never know that one day you may  have witnessed  a now famous singer or actor/actress in the beginning of their career.

In term 2 our major performing art event is Wearable Arts, keep an eye out for information about ticket sales in our newsletters, Facebook page and notices at school.
