Enrolling at a University or Polytechnic 

The first step is to set up your tertiary accounts/student portals. e.g.

Each provider uses their own portal. For example: Otago University has eVision, University of Canterbury has myUC, Lincoln University has MyLinc, Otago Polytechnic has an Application Portal, Ara has Tribal EBS as their student portal and SIT

StudyLink

To complete your Study Link application you will need a Real Me online verified identity. (Setting up your RealMe account). It takes up to 20 working days for your Real Me identity to be verified.

Students can find out more about applying for a student loan (which they have to pay back) How StudyLink can help you. A Student Allowance does not have to be paid back and is means tested.
