International Students
Over the last few weeks we have welcomed 5 new students from overseas who will be with us for a year. We have 4 from Thailand and 1 from Laos and it has been wonderful to see how they have fitted in and how supportive many of our students have been. I would like to acknowledge our International Student Committee who have been empowered to support Tom, Bo, Chama, Tulip and Gear and done a wonderful job. You will hear from Bo and Tom in an interview I had with them not long after they arrived in New Zealand.
I would also like to thank the families in our community who have offered to be host parents for our international students. We have had very positive feedback from both the students, their families and agents on the experiences you are providing.
