GHS mathematicians scale new heights in this year's Kangourou sans Frontières competition
The world's largest mathematics competition for individuals welcomed a contingent of Geraldine High School mathematicians this year that was over 100% larger than last year's group. They put themselves forward to pit their skills against over 6 million other school students worldwide, and did themselves very proud. Their hard-won certificates came through earlier this term, and the following students were presented with them in assembly a few weeks ago by head students Valentina and Harry (shortly after they had each received an excellence result in their latest Level 3 mathematics with calculus assessment - truly demonstrating where maths can take you in school).

Asterisked names indicate students who gained the highest achievement in their year group.
Henry P. is double asterisked as the only student at the school at any level to receive a certificate of distinction (this year or last year), an awesome achievement.
Congratulations to all, and we look forward to seeing how well you all do in the Australian Mathematics Competition coming up on 6 August.
