Seniors: Our seniors have been working on completing their last internal assessments and gearing up for their derived grade exams. Our L2 Bio,and L3 Bio classes have had a trip to Christchurch to the Antarctic Centre, and Orana Park respectively. These trips were all linked to assessments and allowed students to apply their learning to real life.

Year 7: Illuminating Minds with Electricity]

Students have been delving into the electrifying world of electricity. Through engaging hands-on activities using squishy circuits, they've gained an understanding of electrical circuits. In addition to this, they are currently putting their creativity and electrical knowledge to the test by crafting game boards that light up when questions are correctly answered!

Year 8: Science investigations/ Science Fair:

This term our year 8 students have been learning about fair testing and investigations. Nine of our Science wizards, Ellie Fraser, Kat King, Addison Campbell, Elin Beertsen, Danielle Marriott, Emma Wynn, Ashley Looman, Bella Serrano and Violet Adam extended their investigation skills to enter the regional Sanford Science and Technology Fair. On the 9th of September we took their boards down to Timaru to have them judged against over 150 entrances from schools across the region. These students should be proud of their efforts!
