Upcoming Fully Funded Outward Bound Courses for students with disabilities

One of the things he was most proud of was beating his time in a 3km run. He believes that if anyone in TWA gets the chance to go on this experience, they should! He went sailing, rock climbing, and tramping, jumping off a jetty, and completing a 3km race outside, these are just some of the highlights. Fergus met many new friends and made wonderful memories

These courses are fully funded. The only cost to students is getting a pre-course medical done by a GP and getting themselves to and from Picton where the courses start and finish.

Our Adapted courses range from 6-8 days and are based in the Marlborough Sounds. Students build confidence, and independence and make new friends through activities such as sailing, waka ama, ropes course, and camping.

An 8-day course for teens with a physical disability aged 16-18 years.

YOUTH HORIZONS

A 6-day course for school-aged youth 16 to 21 years old with an intellectual disability.
