Course Description
DVC aims to provide a variety of design and drawing experiences which are challenging, creative, useful and enjoyable. You will be encouraged to seek individual innovative solutions and use graphics to develop, record and communicate these solutions in a variety of ways. Topics covered are:
Product and Spatial Design (Architectural)
Media and Technical Illustration Vocational Pathways: Manufacture and Technology, Creative Industries, Architecture, landscape, Interior and Product design, Engineering, Building and other Trades
Course of Study
The course works through a number of design briefs over the year with each one focusing on specific Achievement Standards.

Course Description
The emphasis will be on using different graphical modes and media to solve the set problems. Graphical modes might include computer applications, mock-ups, models, freehand sketches and formal drawing methods. Topics covered are:

LEVEL THREE

Course Description
This course focuses on a study of two design areas: Product/Engineering Design; Environmental/Architecture Design. The combination of ideation and extensive creative thinking is used coherently to form a resolved solution.
Graphical modes might include computer applications, mock-ups, models, freehand sketches and formal drawing methods.
This course has a portfolio assessment for both external and internal achievement standards.
