This year 9 course introduces fundamental skills used in Digital Technologies over the course of two terms. This course is designed to develop students computational computing skills and ability to design and develop digital outcomes.

Topics covered are:

• Block coding through Scratch

• Block coding through Madecode and microbits

• Introduction to electronics using microbits inventor kits

• Designing digital outcome through Minecraft Education Edition

Year 10

This is a course that follows the Technological Design Process and focuses on product development in a digital setting.. You will learn new skills associated with the application of selected software and apply Technology Processes to achieve outcomes. 

Topics offered may include: 

• Programming and coding with Python 

• 3D design and 3D printing 

• Digital media - animation/ video making
