Year 10 Challenge - Ultimate Challenge Day

On Tuesday 29th October, the Year 10s braved the chilly morning to board the bus to Lake Hood. Excited and ready to go they participated in their 4th Year 10 Challenge event for the year. This was a fun challenging day that tested their team’s working and cooperation skills, which they have developed over the year. Each class had to build a makeshift raft that could support two students, while the rest of the class had to paddle together in the blowup rafts to make it across the lake. The students not only impressed us with their attitude to the day and their teamwork but also got some glowing reviews from Peel Forest Outdoor Center who were helping us out. Thank you to our hard-working teachers, especially Mr Titchener, Mr Wilson, Mr Austin, Ms O’Connor and Ms Cramond and her family (our boat masters), for their efforts in making sure everything ran safe and smoothly.
