VIBES 2025

On Thursday the 29th of August, whanau, friends, and general members of the community came together to support our Geraldine High School students at our annual talent competition, VIBES. As we were restricted with the hall usage due to it also being a Gym, VIBES was one night only. 

There was a wide variety of acts, ranging from singers & instrumentalists to lip-syncers. The standard was exceedingly high this year and showcased the immense talent across our student body. 

This year our judges were:

• past Geraldine High School drama student and make up artist - Leila Mowat-Gainsford

•  Geraldine High School Teacher and Musician -  Brett Ducher

•  Community member, dance expert and event manager - Zoe McGarrity. 

We would like to thank them for giving up their time to attend and judge for us - we know this was a very tough job due to the high quality of our students’ performances.

A massive thank you to all of our student participants who worked hard to give such amazing performances. 

Thank you to the members of the Arts Committee who helped decorate. A huge thank you to the staff helpers and our fabulous student Tech team who helped with sound and lighting. You have all contributed to the success of the competition this year.
