The Level 2 Digital Technology course gives students an insight into computer science, business computing and design of SMART applications.

AS 91891 Apply conventions to develop a design for an outcome- 3 credits

AS91894 Use advanced techniques to develop an electronics outcome - 6 credits 91899 Present a summary of developing a digital outcome (External) - (3 credits) 91896 Use advanced techniques to develop a computer program (6 Credits)

Course of Study

You will have the opportunity to gain skills in digital information handling, microcontrollers, electronics computer coding and computer human interaction.

Standards

Develop an electronics system to meet a brief. This is a signal project covering these standards:

AS 91906 Use complex programming techniques to develop a computer program (6 credits) AS 91904 Use complex techniques to develop an electronics outcome (6 credits) AS91901 Apply user experience methodologies to develop a design for a digital technologies outcome (3 credits)

AS 91909 Present a reflective analysis of developing a digital outcome (3 credits)(External) Entry Criteria

Passed all the internals in Level 2 DTE.

NCEA Level 2.
