Geraldine High School Ball Permission Form
Dear Students and Parents/Caregivers,
Re: Geraldine High School Ball 2023
The formal School Ball will take place at the school hall on Saturday 12th August.
The Ball walk-ins will commence at 7.30pm with the doors closing for entry at 8.30pm. The Ball ends at 12.00am and guests will only be permitted to leave from 11.30pm onwards. Please make arrangements for your son/daughter’s prompt transportation home at this time. There will be parking onsite for when you are picking up your son/daughter.
The Ball is for Year 12 and Year 13 students. Suitable partners from outside of Geraldine High School, or from Year 11, are welcome, with the approval of the Principal. Attendance at the Ball is a privilege. Any students whose behaviour and attendance at school is not acceptable will not be allowed to attend the Ball. The cost of a single ticket is $80. The permission form (please click this link to fill out) must be completed and returned by Friday 7th July. Once you have completed the form, you could login to Kindo and purchase the number of tickets you require to confirm payment. All payments must be made by Friday 21st.
This is a smoke/vape and alcohol-free event. All those attending will be breath-tested at the entrance of the school, which is the only point of entry for those attending. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or attempting to bring alcohol, cigarettes or illegal substances to the event will be refused entry. All those attending are expected to conduct themselves as is appropriate for a school event, and any student or partner failing to behave in the expected manner will be asked to leave.
It is important that you are aware of Geraldine High School’s position on after Ball functions. It is expected that your son/daughter will be under your supervision from the closure of the Ball. Small gatherings at a private residence, under parental supervision, are acceptable. No other type of after Ball event is condoned by this school. If further clarification is required please contact the Principal.
We are looking forward to an outstanding evening.
Yours sincerely
Mr. Coleman Miss. Melissa Neill and the Geraldine High School Principal Ball Committee
