Canterbury Chess Tournament -

Huge congratulations to our senior and junior teams that competed last week in the Canterbury Chess Tournament. Our senior team ranked 6th and our juniors 13th. We are absolutely stoked with this result from our first year competing.

Extension writing -

We are very excited to be finishing up our extension writing this term. Our students have done a fantastic job crafting pieces for national and international competitions. I'm also very excited to announce next term this class is evolving into Extension Speech/debate to prepare for events like model UC/EU, and upcoming contests.

Jump Jam -

Last week our students competed in the Jump Jam Extravaganza, these girls did a fantastic job! We are really proud! Next term we are hoping to compete in the regional heat for the upcoming national tournament.

Maori -

Last week our year 7 cohort celebrated Matariki with shared kai. This was a fantastic afternoon where students came together and spent time celebrating the first two terms of high school.
