Mr Coleman Leaving Community Letter

Kia ora whanau,

It is with a mixture of pleasure and regret that we announce that our Tumuaki| Principal, Simon Coleman, has been appointed to the position of Tumuaki of Ashburton College. This is a very exciting opportunity for Simon and one which we are very supportive of. We wish Simon all the best in his new role and hope that his last term with Geraldine High will be enjoyable.

We will be advertising for a new Principal over the following weeks with the view to appoint for a beginning of the 2024 year start. That said, we are mindful of the need to choose the correct person for our kura and will therefore not rush the decision.

To that end, we sent out a survey this week to gather feedback on your thoughts on what you’d like in a Principal.
