Easter Baskets 2023

The rustle of cellophane, the delicious smell of chocolate and the students learning the intricate art of ribbon curling has been happening over the last few weeks as members of the Student Council join together to make the Easter gift bags and rest home baskets as part of the schools Easter Basket event for 2023. 

Students from all levels descended on the Food tech room during first break and lunchtimes to produce over 150 individual bags and the baskets. 

We are very grateful to Barkers of Geraldine for their continued support in donating the Barkers product for this year, Dulce De Leche Caramel spread, and some yummy chocolate eggs which will be delivered to the nominated elderly before Easter. 

Elle has also created some wonderful Easter cards which we are looking forward to delivering to the rest homes.

The school held a free dress day in March to help with the cost of the Easter eggs and this was well supported by the whole school, we appreciate everyones contribution. Students are looking forward to getting out and delivering these in the last week of this term. 

We would like to thank Mrs Cunningham and Mrs Hawkins for their support and help by taking students in cars when deliveries are on.
