Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival 2023
On Tuesday 4th April, Geraldine High School hosted the 2023 University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival. This is a Regional Festival with schools around our region competing Shakespearean scenes for the honour to go to Nationals in Wellington.
Mrs. Kimble Henderson came to be our Assessor for the day which was an honour.
Aoraki Regional Schools donated a Cup Titled “Elizabeth Grubb Trophy”.
This is an acknowledgement of the service of Elizabeth Grubb to Drama and Shakespeare in our region. This will be the third year it has been presented and will now be an annual trophy at our Regional Festival.
