Welcome to our New Staff in 2024

Welcome to our New Staff in 2024

Mr Scott Austin

Kia ora,
My name is Scott Austin. I am the newest member of the English team at Geraldine High. I have a background in teaching English as a foreign language in Cologne, Germany. I did this for several years and really enjoyed the experience of working overseas, especially in a country where English was not the primary language spoken. I came back to New Zealand during the pandemic and decided to stay and teach English here. I am very excited about being part of the school community and being involved in as many extra curricular activities as possible.
Looking forward to meeting all of you,
Ngā mihi!

In my downtime I love to go for walks in nature, spending time with family and friends, and I enjoy reading and art.
