YEAR 8 SPIRIT AWARDS
The focus of this award is to recognise students who consistently maintain a high level of effort and achievement. The award covers each of our 4 values: Respect, Responsibility, Relationships and Achievement. The award has sections that cover academic challenges, participation challenges, leadership, attitude and effort and community service and each section has an allocation of points.

Supreme Awards:
The RODGERS CUP, presented to the school by Mr Tim Rodgers, who was Dean of Year 7 and 8 for many years, it is a Year 8 award for the student who displays all round involvement in school life and sound citizenship.

The recipient must also have earned a gold award from their Yr 8 Spirit Booklet which involves our four values of Respect, Responsibility, Relationships and Achievement and display empathy towards other pupils, staff, and be supportive of their needs.

The ACLAND CUP, presented to the school by Mrs Ro Acland, who was Geraldine High School Chaplin from 2000-2009, is awarded to a student who has, on an ongoing basis, related well to others in a respectful manner, who has shown empathy for the needs of others and who is inclusive of all.

The IRVINE Family Trophy, This trophy has been presented to the school by the Irvine family, which acknowledges ongoing services to the school and community. The award goes to a Year 9 student who shows all round involvement in school life, sound citizenship, and strong connections to the local community.
